Friday forenoon, March 19, at 10:30 o’clock, Mr. John Strangfeld and Miss Elizabeth Glasow were quietly married at the Lutheran parsonage at Neillsville, Rev. Brandt uniting them in wedlock.

The bride was attended by her youngest sister, Miss Erna. The groom’s attendant was Mr. LaFayette Oldham, a friend of the couple.

The bride was attired in a sand colored satin, faced with flat crepe, finished with gold lace. She carried a shower bouquet of Bessie Brown roses and locust. The bridesmaid wore a deep tan flat crepe with white carnations.

The groom and his attendant wore the conventional blue.

After the ceremony they visited the Thayer Studio, and then returned to their new home in Pine Valley.

The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Glasow of the town of Weston. She is a graduate of Neillsville High School in the class of 1924. Since her graduation she has been a successful teacher at the Blackberry school in Tioga.

The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Strangfeld of the town of Weston, is a young farmer of fine personalities. The newlyweds will reside on the Chas. Blocke farm in the town of Pine Valley, which the groom has rented. The bride will continue her school work until the summer vacation.

At eight o’clock in the evening music was furnished by the North Pine Valley serenaders.
