Mrs. C. C. Thresher of Hogan is visiting the family of J. M. Daily.
G. I. Follet drove up from Spencer Monday morning with a traveling man.
Frank Jarvis is at Birch Grove looking after the lumber of R. B. Salter & Co.
Miss Emma Arndt left yesterday for Ashland where she will remain for a time.
Mrs. Jos. Rensimer was up from Unity visiting her daughter Mrs. F. J. Salter.
Veterinary Surgeon J. W. Wicker will made regular visits to Medford hereafter.
Chas. Patridge has sold to C. S. Ouimette and others, lands in town 28, range 2 east.
Miss Lena Welsch and two children of J. A. Pettet are visiting with Mrs. D. P. Welsch.
Remember, the S. of V. picnic at the Eau Plaine today and the dance at Colby Hall tonight.
The spire of M. E. Church has been repaired and neatly painted. R. H. Dickinson did the job.
The high school will commence next Monday, he district school will commence two weeks later.
C. E. Randall, representing a Furnishing Goods house, of St. Paul, was in town Saturday and Sunday.
E. H. Winchester was down Saturday attending to insurance business and did a little in the way of life insurance company.
W. W. Barlett of Winona was in town Friday and Saturday.
