The mushroom harvest is heavy this fall.

C. R. Taylor made a business trip to Sterling last Friday.

If you dance, go the S. of V. dance next Thursday evening.

Cora McCarthy commenced a term of school at Withee, Monday.

G. J. Wallbridge has purchased the buckskin pony of Albert Gray.

The junior made a trip to Thorp Monday and returned Tuesday morning.

Frank Salter traded ponies with the men that came off the railroad grade.

Attend the S. of V. picnic at the Eau Pleine picnic grounds next Thursday.

It is estimated that over 200,000 stranger will visit Milwaukee next week.

J. R. Bruneau came over Tuesday morning to look after business for a day or two.

E. H. Winchester was in town Saturday looking after some of his insurance business.

A chimney sweep tooted his horn from the roofs of several building in town Tuesday.

R. B. Salter sold a yearling colt yesterday for $75 to a party from Chippewa Falls.

Geo. Stersinger is laying a wall for the high school building and has it nearly completed.
