Manina, Grace (25 June 1969)

The United Methodist Church, Spencer, was the setting of the wedding of Miss Grace Manina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Manina, route 1 Spencer and Preston A yoder, son of Mr. and mrs. Walter Yoder, 115 Front St., Spencer.

Officiating at the Saturday, June 25 nuptial service at 12 noon was the Rev. James Hagen and Mrs. Hagen and Mrs. Darrell Roder was the organist.

The bride choose a white floor length A-line gown of organza and lace and was complimented with a silk illusion veil attached to a head piece of white organza roses and seed pearls. She carried a corsage of white gardenias and stephonotis on a white bible.

Miss Frances Manina, Spencer, was the maid of honor and Mrs. Richard (Carol) Miller, Marshfield, the bridesmatron.

The aides were seen in pale blue crepe street-length A-line dresses with matching head pieces of blue roses and silk net veils. Their flowers were hand corsages of daisies, pink roses and pink and white carnations,

Lea Ellen Manina was the flower girl and Kevin Carlson, the ring bearer. Clarence Yoder served as best man and Richard Miller, Marshfield was groomsman. Gerald Miller and John Manina, Jr. performed the ushering duties.

A wedding dinner followed the ceremony at the church and a reception was held at the Walter Yoder home later.

Both the bride and groom graduated from the Spencer High School and the bride has been employed by Dairy Belt in Spencer and the groom at Berg Equipment Company, Marshfield.

Following a honeymoon to northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside at #06 Pacific St., Spencer.
