Robert "Bob" H. Friedrichsen, 74, of Marshfield and Arizona City, Arizona, died Saturday April 17, 2004.

He was born near Danbury Iowa Sept. 8, 1929, to Jens and Bertha (Schoenfeld) Friedrichsen. He was married Nov. 4, 1951 to Corinn L. Bruhn and they were married for 52 years. Robert was a Korean War veteran from 1952 - 1954. The couple farmed in Iowa until 1957, when they moved to a farm near Granton. In 1963 he started Mid-State Sales with his partner Cecil Jones, and specialized in farm auctions.

He is survived by his four children, five grandchildren, one sister and two brothers, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger; and brother-in-law, Howard Schmidt.

Funeral services were held at Central Lutheran church in Arizona City on April 19th, and at Christ Lutheran Church April 23rd in Marshfield. Entombment took place at Hillside Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family requests memorial gifts to the National Farm Medicine Center, 1000 North Oak Avenue, Marshfield WI 54449.
