Ayers, Frank (14 DEC 1861 - 17 Apr 1927)

Frank Ayers died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Lynch of Waukesha, where he had gone for a visit, and where he was suddenly taken very ill.

All that loving hearts and hands could do were of no avail and he passed to the Great Beyond, April 17, 1927.

He was born Dec. 14, 1861, at Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., where he has always lived. He was married to Emma Cook August 18, 1880. To this union were born two children, Irving at Neillsville and Blanche, Mrs. Frank Lynch of Waukesha. His wife passed away March 1, 1925, also at the home of their daughter at Waukesha.

Mr. Ayers was an honest and upright citizen, a kind and loving husband and father. He served the city as street commissioner for five successive years. He will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends. He leaves to mourn his death, his aged mother, his two children, two sisters and brothers: Charlie of Minneapolis; Ernest of Lynn; Mrs. Mary Beaulieu and Mrs. Harriet Brillion; also four grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the home of his sister, Mrs. Beaulieu, Tuesday, April 19, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. He was laid to rest beside his wife in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Those from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lynch of Waukesha.
