Birch, Mary C. (13 JUL 1875 - 14 Dec 1924)

Mrs. E. Birch, a former resident of this locality (Clark County, Wis.), died Dec. 14, 1924, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Rice Lake, Wis. She was born Mary C. Coszel, daughter of David and Marie Coszel, in the town of Pine Valley, near Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., July 13, 1875. On May 24, 1892 she was married to E. Birch at Cadott, Wis. Two children were born to this union. She leaves to mourn her death one son, A. F. Birch of Spooner, one brother, David Coszel of Lugerville, Wis., and two sisters, Mrs. E. Harmon of Black River Falls and Mrs. Con Gorman of this city. She leaves also two little adopted sons, Basil and Raymond Mitchell. The funeral was held at Eberhardt's undertaking parlors in this city Dec. 18, Rev. Walder officiating. Misses Elsie King and Flarie Drescher, sang. Burial took place in the Neillsville Cemetery.
