Ewald Krause, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krause of the town of Grant died Sunday, Feb. 18th, 1923, aged 20 years, 10 months and 20 days. The young man had been in the northern woods working in camp and came home sick with what seemed to be the flu, the disease being far advanced before he arrived home.

He was born in the town of Grant March 28, 1902, grew to manhood there. He was an industrious young man who had been helpful at the home and in the community and his death at so early an age is a seeming disaster.

He leaves his parents, six brothers and one sister.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Fischer church in Grant, Rev. Reiff officiating.
