Miss Rosemary Martin, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Martin, Humbird, became the bride of Mr. Lyle C. Williams, son of Mrs. A. W. Norholm, of Superior, at a 2:00 o'clock wedding Thursday afternoon, August 26, 1948, in a single ring ceremony, by the Rev. Arthur L. Gausmann, in the Methodist church in this village.

Attendants of the couple were Miss Vera Williams, sister of the groom,, and Raymond Martin, brother of the bride. Ushers were James and David Martin. Another brother, Wallace Martin, gave the bride in marriage.

The bride's gown was white satin, sweetheart neckline and train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, a white satin testament, with showers of ribbons and buds. The groom wore a light tan suit and white boutonniere.

The pianist was Miss Lucille Dunn who played the processional and recessional, and accompanied the soloist, Miss Mary Stave, a cousin of the bride, who sand, "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer." The church was decorated with a beautiful arrangement and variation of summer flowers. Following the wedding a reception was held in the church basement.

The bride and groom left for a week's honeymoon trip into Canada, and are now at home in Superior.

The bride graduated from Humbird high school, and attended the state teachers college. The groom graduated from East Superior high school and is employed as a telegraph operator in that city.
