Shroedler, Adolf (1 OCT 1849 - 25 Sep 1914)

Adolf Shroedler died of rheumatism and heart disease at his home in this village (Stanley, Clark County, Wis.) on Friday, Sept. 25, 1914, after an illness of several months duration. He was born in Germany on Oct. 1, 1849, where he grew to manhood and at the age of twenty-two was married and came to this country. His wife died at Curtiss, Clark County where he resided many years ago, and some years after he was again united in marriage. He has been a resident of Stanley the past five years. He leaves a wife and six grown children, Frank, Louis and Miss Ella Shroedler, who reside at Curtiss, Robert Shroedler of Minneapolis, Mrs. Olive Stratton of St. Paul and James Shroedler of this place, all of whom were present at the funeral except Robert. The funeral services were held at St. Bernard's Church on Monday morning, Father Neises officiating, the remains being taken to Curtiss on train No. 6, where interment took place later in the day.
