Flemming, Lydia (12 Nov 1819 - 20 Apr 1912)

Mrs. Lydia Flemming, one of the oldest persons in this locality, died Saturday, April 20, 1912, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Woodcock, in the town of Pine Valley, Clark County, aged 92 years, 5 months and 8 days. Notwithstanding her advanced age she retained all her faculties up to the time of her death. Her cheery manner and bright active mind made her quite a favorite among the neighbors who had become acquainted with her. She was a native of Vermont, and had all the moral and intellectual traits that characterized the New Englanders of early days. Mrs. Woodcock is the only surviving child. The remains were taken to Fond du Lac for burial in the family lot, the funeral taking place Tuesday.
