Moseley, Joyce K. (15 Mar 1946 - 16 Jul 2002)

Joyce K. Moseley, 56, Greenwood, died on Tuesday, Jul 16, 2002, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jul 19, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Greenwood. The Rev. Terri Blomberg officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Otto Kind, Donnie Noeldner, Tom Behrens, Arvin Gade, Bill Schlough, Harry Johnson, Jim Hinker and Burton Jolivette.

Joyce Kay Gower was born on March 15, 1946, in Black River Falls, to Rinehart and Maime (nee Berget) Gower. She attended schools in Alma Center and graduated as the salutatorian of the Alma Center High School Class of 1964. She married Robert Moseley on Jul 10, 1965, at the Upper Pigeon Creek Lutheran Church, Northfield. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Greenwood. She worked at F&M State Bank for 13 years, and then worked at the Sautebin Law Office until she retired in the fall of 2000 for medical reasons. She was an active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid. Her interests included baking, reading, camping and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, Greenwood; two sons, Scott (Jean) Moseley, Neillsville, and Todd (Lynda) Moseley, Evansville; one son-in-law, Scott Miller, Prescott; seven grandchildren, Lucas, Casey, Brooke, Taylor, Tyler, Rebekah and Katelyn; four sisters, Jo (Denis) Kelly, Lake Delton, Jeanine (Bob) Janke, Roseville, Minn., Carol (Rick) Havrilla, Elk River, Minn., and Marilyn (David) Hoffman, Black River Falls; one brother, Dale (Patty) Gower, Alma Center; one sister-in-law, Pat Gower, Blaine, Minn.; her mother-in-law, Verna Moseley, Alma Center; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Terri Miller; three brothers, Gary, Douglas and Randy; one sister, Betty; and her father-in-law, Robert G. Moseley. Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family with arrangements.
